A little bit about me - 

​

- I grew up in Southern California but LOVE living in Michigan

- I am married to an amazing man who hails from Kenya

- Our blended family consists of two sons from Cali, one son and

  one daughter from Kenya, and one beautiful granddaughter

  born here in Michigan.

- I love everything water!

- When I'm not at school, you can find me reading, kayaking,

  hiking, taking pictures, spending time with my family, or

  watching a movie

- My least favorite things: cauliflower & pulling weeds out of my

  garden

- Before becoming a teacher, I worked at Starbucks for 15 years!

- Now that my kids are in college, it's my turn to pursue my

  passion - teaching!

- I'm currently pursuing my Master of Art in Teaching at

  Western Michigan University

- I cannot wait to start teaching! This has been a life-long dream

  that I finally get to pursue!
